We handcraft these doors from kiln-dried solid wood with traditional joinery. The decorative woodwork can be painted to coordinate with period trim or stained to show the grain of our standard African Mahogany. If you prefer a different wood, consider how much weather reaches the entry when making your selection.
Each door is built to your measurements, with standard thicknesses from 1⅛ to 1¾ inches. Doors arrive unfinished for painting or staining, and we provide guidance for sealing every surface before installation. Taking care with the finish around decorative details helps protect the wood as well as the appearance of the door.
