Choose a pattern for the whole porch

Also consider how the pattern looks when repeated across the porch. Details that feel subtle in one panel become more prominent across several openings. Compare the designs above with the width of your posts and the amount of open screen or glass you want between the wood elements.
Connect the panels with the entrance
Pair the fixed enclosure panels with one of our Victorian Screen & Storm Doors to carry the design through the entrance. Choose where to repeat a decorative shape and where a simpler section will keep the porch from feeling crowded. The door provides access while the surrounding panels remain in place.
Custom sizing lets the pattern respond to the spaces between posts. Transoms and shaped panels can complete taller or curved areas. Compare the outline of those sections with the brackets and trim already on the porch before choosing their internal divisions.
Keep the details through the seasons
Removable inserts allow you to exchange screen for storm glass while the decorative wood frames remain installed. Choose screen for airflow and glass for added shelter from wind and rain. Paint can connect the decorative details with the porch’s color scheme; stain shows the grain of our standard African Mahogany. Alternative species should suit the exposure. Panels arrive unfinished, with guidance for sealing and exterior finishing around the decorative pieces as well as the main frame.
