Custom exterior doors with practical construction choices
We build with solid, kiln-dried hardwood and traditional joinery. Standard exterior thickness is 1¾ inches, with thicknesses available up to 2¼ inches. Glazed designs use insulated tempered glass, with Low-E and decorative options depending on the door.
A slab supplies the door for a suitable existing frame. A pre-hung door comes with its jamb, hinges, weatherstripping, and adjustable mahogany threshold. If you are planning sidelights or a transom as well, our entrance units bring the components together in a coordinated frame.
African Mahogany is our standard wood, offering natural beauty and durability. We can help you evaluate other species for the exposure at your entry and the finish you want. Doors arrive unfinished, with guidance for sealing and painting or staining all surfaces before installation.
