Rustic
Solid, natural character in every board
Rustic doors feel as though they’ve grown from the land itself. With heavy planks, visible grain, and optional iron details, they belong in cabins, lodges, and timber-framed homes.
Built from solid hardwood with natural heft, each door is one of a kind — weathering gracefully so its marks and texture become part of the story over time.

Choose a scene you enjoy living with
Bring a favorite landscape or outdoor pursuit into your home with a rustic wood door. Our designs include wildlife, hunting, fishing, and nautical themes, with solid wood construction and custom sizing for a cabin, lake house, or everyday home.
A woodland design can echo the setting around a cabin. A boating or fishing scene might recall time on the water. These rustic doors use decorative wood cutouts to make the subject part of the door, with the surrounding rails and panels forming its frame.
Look at the design from the places where you will see it most often. A scene at the front entrance has a different background from one between two rooms. The amount of glass or screen around the woodwork affects both the view through the door and how clearly the image stands out.
You can also discuss a custom cutout if you have a particular subject in mind. Our team can help consider how that idea will work within the door’s dimensions and layout.
Find the right rustic door for the opening
Rustic exterior doors are built for the main outdoor opening. Glazed designs use insulated tempered glass, with clear and decorative choices available by design. Think about the scene from inside as well as the view into your home from outside.
Rustic screen and storm doors work in front of a main entry or at a porch opening. Removable screen and glass inserts let you change between airflow and added weather protection while keeping the outdoor-themed woodwork in place.
Rustic interior doors bring related scenes into rooms and hallways. A den or living area may suit a view through glass, while a bedroom may need a different glass treatment or panel arrangement. Choose the design for the room as well as the subject.
Let the wood contribute its own detail
Our standard African Mahogany adds natural grain around the cutouts under a stained finish. Paint offers another way to define the scene and relate it to nearby trim. Interior doors have the full selection of 17 woods; outdoor products require species suited to their exposure.
Each door is handcrafted from kiln-dried solid wood and supplied unfinished. Follow the finishing guidance for the decorative cutout edges as well as the main frame and panels.
