Let the porch guide the proportions
Traditional porch enclosure panels use balanced rails and straightforward divisions to frame the view from your porch. Each solid wood panel is made to your dimensions, with screen and glass choices for the way you use the space.
A traditional panel can connect a new enclosure with the familiar lines of porch posts, windows, and trim. Compare the height of the lower wood section and the arrangement of the open areas above it. A broad screen or glass area preserves more of the view; additional divisions give the enclosure a more detailed pattern.
Look at the panels as a group. Carrying a horizontal rail across several sections helps tie the enclosure together, even when the spaces between posts differ in width. We can adjust each panel’s dimensions and divisions around those openings.
Make room for a matching door
The enclosure panels remain fixed in place. For access to the yard or steps, pair them with one of our Traditional Screen & Storm Doors. Plan the door position early so the surrounding panels can share its rails and proportions without limiting the passage you need.
Include any transoms or shaped upper sections in the layout. A simple main panel can leave room for the porch’s existing trim to stand out, while coordinated divisions above it carry the pattern into a taller opening.
Choose inserts and a finish
With removable inserts, you can enjoy screens during warmer weather and exchange them for storm glass when you want more shelter. The solid wood frames stay installed. African Mahogany is our standard wood, with natural grain that a stained finish can show. Paint can coordinate the panels with existing trim. Panels arrive unfinished; choose a species suited to the exposure and follow the guidance for sealing and finishing before installation.
