The wood around the scene is part of the composition. Rail positions, panel shapes and the amount of glass influence how prominent the image feels. A simpler layout can give the subject more room, while a divided design creates smaller areas of detail.

Select wood to complement the room
African Mahogany is standard, with natural grain that gives the wood surrounding the scene its own character. You can choose from all 17 interior wood options and coordinate the species with your trim, floors or cabinetry. Stain keeps the grain visible; paint offers another way to relate the door to the room.

Each door is made from kiln-dried solid hardwood. Interior thickness is 1½ inches as standard, with a 1¾-inch option. We supply the wood unfinished, with guidance for sealing and finishing it before installation.
