The polished brass hinges are made using a "hot-forge" process which makes the brass 1 1/2 times stronger than casting! This process allows for finer matching for springs and pins. Features include a premium quality solid brass hinge body and stainless steel spring for strength and durability (no rust)! The spring is fully finished to match the hinge body and each hinge is hand polished to ensure an even surface.
